CANARIAN DAY
On Wednesday 29th May we celebrated Canarian day in school, this is a very special day for us. We asked the children think about the Canarian culture and traditions, this is vital for us to all know as it is where we live! All of the children and teachers arrived at school looking fantastic in their traditional outfits and that was just the start of the festivities.
Throughout the day we made gofio, played Canarian boules, had a go at Lucha (canarian wrestling) and then performed a song at the end of the day for our parents. This special day took lots of preparation and hard work from the children and teachers. Well done!
