FAMILY’S DAY
This year it was decided that Family’s Day should be a day of enjoyment for both the children and their families. Families of the Nursery, Reception and Year One classes were invited to spend a little time together during the school day.
Mums, dads and even some grandparents worked together with the children from Reception class to paint their family portraits, which were then displayed in our very own outside gallery. Everyone was pleasantly surprised with the results.
The children from the Nursery class delighted their families with a repertoire of songs in Spanish and English where parents and grandparents played an important part.
Last but not least, the pupils from Year One performed a small presentation underlining how important and indispensable each family member is, regardless of their individual character or any faults they may have.
All the children felt very happy to be able to enjoy their day to day school activities with their loved ones.
