INTERNATIONAL PEACE AND NON-VIOLENCE DAY
One of our most important ethics is to encourage peace and harmony throughout the school; therefore the week preceding the 30th January is a perfect opportunity to discuss why we should respect others, solve conflicts peacefully, and why it is important to comply with school rules and values.
Undoubtedly, it is crucial that as a school we have the cooperation and involvement of parents and families. Therefore as one of the main themes of the Peace Day celebration we ask parents to help the children write peace messages for us all to consider.
On Friday 30th January, the actual day of International Peace and Non-Violence we finished with inviting families to enjoy listening to the children read poems, and sing songs about peace.
