The children are expected to work hard all year to achieve their best, therefore at the end of the school year it is always nice to finish with a fun outing.
Our primary 2 and 3 classes were delighted to be able to go and spend a night in the Oasis Park hostel. This meant they were able to spend two whole days in the park with dedicated guides from the park, they even had time to interact with the sea lions, and take part in a late evening adventure walk to talk about night animals, gaze at the amazing starry sky and play some fun campfire games.
One of the most favorite outings is Rancho Texas and the children from Reception and Year 1 were very excited to finally have their turn to experience all the shows and learn about the animals.
For the youngest children in nursery class the whole idea of going on a big bus from school and taking their picnic was very exciting never mind going to the Aquarium. They sat for a long time amazed by the sharks, turtles and sting rays as they watched them feed.
