Every February we celebrate the arrival of carnival in school. On the 24th February our pupils enjoyed a day filled with excitement, fun and surprises…..they delighted us with fabulous costumes complete with masks; “Some were unrecognizable!”
Later in March, whilst waiting for the arrival of the carnival in Playa Blanca the pupils prepared their marvellous hand-made costumes.
The school was filled with adorable octopus, colourful jelly fish, funny crabs which searched to find Nemo, fierce sharks and king Neptune and his merpeople who were in charge of ensuring everything went well.
At the end of the day, pupils from Year 3 and Year 4 presented their carnival song “Under the Sea!” this year’s carnival theme. They demonstrated what great artists they really are, both in their singing and dancing. They were great!
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you once more for your collaboration and presence and hope that you enjoyed the performance as much as we did.
