In February Queen’s School opened its doors and welcomed in all of our families for a morning of fun. Everyone who came was able to observe their children in their school environment, from the youngest children in our 2 year old class all the way to our oldest children in Year 7.
The 2 year old students showed us their classroom routines and their fantastic classroom activities.
Nursery and Reception class also showed us their daily routines when coming to school and they all engaged in different fun classroom activities and lessons in and outside of the classrooms in English, Spanish and Chinese.
Our children from Year 1 to Year 7 made various presentations of the topics they are working in the class at the moment. They were the teachers of the day, all children were able to explain their current topic including interesting facts and experiments they have carried out. Different classrooms exhibited different work and we had everything from our very own art gallery to our mad science lab.
Finally we finished off the morning with an acrobatic performance from our two oldest year groups.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all who attended, a fantastic day was had by all.
